Cameras and Fishing

Article:
At first glance it may seem as if these two things don't go
together, but they should. I mean, who doesn't like looking at
pictures of large fish? Every angler should carry some sort of
camera with them while fishing, just in case. Especially if
you're like me and practice catch and release fishing. A trophy
fish can be hooked at any moment and capturing a picture of a
trophy can provide years of memories, not to mention bragging
rights.
In today's world buying a small digital camera is no problem at
all and not very expensive either. Ten years ago, carrying a
camera with you while fishing was a complete pain in the butt,
if not impossible. But today, it's no problem. Most digital
cameras are small enough to fit into a pocket in your fishing
vest, and some are small enough to fit in the back pocket of
your jeans! In this day and age, carrying a camera with you
while fishing is a breeze.
Carrying a camera in your vest, pocket, or tackle box while
fishing also enables you to capture some of the wonderful scenes
of nature that anglers get to enjoy. Amazing sunrises, wildlife,
and other natural wonders won't have to be reserved for your not
so reliable memory if you carry a camera with you while
fishing.
If a digital camera scares you and you can't see the point,
simply buy one of those disposable cameras and throw it in your
vest or tackle box. Then if you happen to need tit, it will be
there. The bottom line is that you shouldn't be without the
ability to capture a picture of something amazing if it happens.
What if you're 5 miles down a river wade fishing all alone
enjoying not only the fishing, but the wilderness itself and a
Bigfoot steps onto the river about 50 feet away? You'll sure
wish you could capture that moment, I would imagine.
